Bookbinding is a process as old as books. From Coptic, to Secret Belgian Binding, to Straight Stitch, there are many possibilities to express your creativity with this age-old technique. In this course, we'll be learning the JAPANSESE STAB BINDING technique, which provides great allowance for creativity in your binding, as you can select beautiful papers, covers, and more to create the meat of your book before the binding begins (if you're a lover of beautiful paper, card stock, and journals, this class if for you).
During this 2 hour course, we'll learn the 4-Hole and Noble Japanese Stab Binding techniques, starting with a small bound jotter before we move to larger journals and books.
All materials are provided in the cost of the workshop.
