Japanese Bookbinding 101: 4-Hole & Noble Techniques

Bookbinding is a process as old as books.  From Coptic, to Secret Belgian Binding, to Straight Stitch, there are many possibilities to express your creativity with this age-old technique.  In this course, we'll be learning the JAPANSESE STAB BINDING technique, which provides great allowance for creativity in your binding, as you can select beautiful papers, covers, and more to create the meat of your book before the binding begins (if you're a lover of beautiful paper, card stock, and journals, this class if for you). 

During this 2 hour course, we'll learn the 4-Hole and Noble Japanese Stab Binding techniques, starting with a small bound jotter before we move to larger journals and books.

All materials are provided in the cost of the workshop.

We understand that sometimes there will be a need for registrants to postpone or cancel a registration for a bee creative class.  In order to receive a full refund, we must receive your cancellation notice in writing at least 7 days before the class start.  Any cancellations made 4 days or more before the date of the workshop will be transferred to a credit that may be used toward a future workshop.  Cancellations 3 days or less result in forfeiture of the class registration fee. We ask that any issued credit be used within 30 days of the cancellation date to prevent loss of the registration fee.  Email to register your credit for the future class date of your choice.
