Every season, Malene (the "inal" in iram-inal, a name forged by turning she and her sister, Mari's name backwards) comes up with innovative, fashion-forward ways to keep beaded jewelry unique and bold. Her original large-bead woven design continues to be her most popular necklace style. While voluminous, the jewelry is lightweight for the wearer, and largely incorporates upcycled, recycled and eco-friendly components in the majority of their designs, which is very important. She strongly believes that independent handmade design can easily be sustainable, stylish andaffordable, and plans to continue to create designs that may be worn by women of all ages, shapes and sizes through her eponymous line.
