Have you always wanted to learn how to use a sewing machine? Are you thinking about buying one but want to try one out first to see if you like it? Then this is the perfect beginner class for you.  Come use one of our in-house machines and our instructor will guide you.  You’ll learn how to use a basic machine and be able to apply those skills to your own machine at home or to the one you plan to purchase in the future.

During this class, you’ll learn the proper names for all the machine parts that will help you understand sewing instructions and tutorials in the future. You’ll learn how to thread a machine, wind a bobbin and then we’ll jump right in and begin sewing. After honing your skills with practice fabric, you’ll be guided step by step through the process of actually sewing your first project, an envelope pillowcase to adorn your home.

All materials are included.

This class is limited to students who are age 15 and older; no children or unsupervised tweens, please.
