NO PRE-REQUISITE REQUIRED.   Learn how to make a beautiful resin-covered cutting board with an ocean motif, all made by hand (and by you!). 

Are you a person who needs a little instant gratification in your life?  Do you love pretty, modern housewares?  Have an affinity for nature, the ocean, bodies of water?  If so, this is the workshop for you.  

In our 101 and 102 Resin workshops, we go through the traditional steps of how to mix a two part resin epoxy, pour it, and cure it over a period of 24-48 hours.  Here, we'll add elements of alcohol ink, a heat gun, and a lot of fun that will help you create a beautiful statement piece that you can simply admire, or use as a serving board in your home. 

In this workshop, attendees will learn:

• What your proper work environment should be to easily create resin housewares. 
• All the tools and components you'll need to create at home (and where to buy them)
• How to prepare the cutting board to receive your resin pours
• How to properly use a heat gun to form your "ocean" and "waves"
• How to pour and cure resin onto an existing substrate. 

By the end of the 2-2.5 hour workshop, each participant will have beautiful new ocean-inspired cutting bard to take home after 48 hours of curing. All materials are included in the price of the workshop.
