If you've ever admired cards that look like pieces of art, you were probably admiring gel printed medium.  Gel printing is where you build color and depth by adding layer over layer of acrylic paint, using different textured mediums to create a ghost print effect. 

This technique is both versatile and gratifying, and almost anything can be used to create texture. Mistakes are often happy surprises in gel printing, and this medium is great for beginners all the way to experienced artists looking for a new way to express their creativity. 

This workshop will teach the basics of building a substrate for your greeting cards.  Once dry, you can layer with other on-hand options we'll have available, like stamps, pre-printed words to create your own personal greeting, and other colorful images.

By the end of the workshop, you'll go home with several greeting cards and the knowledge to use this newfound skill in larger art pieces.
