Yup, yup. These are those earrings that stop folks in the crowd. The lightweight dazzlers that are appropriate to wear to a music festival, out to lunch with friends, or the opera. While they look complicated, you'll quickly learn that a little turn here, and a little twist there will have you cranking these babies out with a fierce quickness (and you'll love them all).
The creation of jewelry comes in many forms: machine fabrication, assemblage, hand-forming, and soldering, just to name a few. The style you'll be perfecting in this 2 hour workshop is wire-wrapping. Some stones, a little bit of wire, and an earring frame is all you need to turn the ordinary into fabulousness. You'll learn how to:
- Wrap a broillette using thin gauge wire
- How to properly wrap small gemstones around a frame
- Using two pairs of pliers to properly connect your jewelry with jump rings
- All the knowledge to rock a new pair daily
By the end of this workshop, you'll have at least 2 pair of beautifully wrapped baubles to call your own. We'll use hypo-allergenic brass for you to create beautiful pieces that you can rock each and every day.
