In this 1.5-2 hour class, you will learn how to make two incredible homemade jams that you will quickly start making again, and again, and again.
THIS IS A TASTING CLASS (YAY!). As a part of the process, you'll begin by sampling the three different jams you'll make during the workshop. Your options:
- Tomato Onion Rosemary Jam
- Maple Bacon Jam
- Honey Jalapeno Peach
We'll then move on to creating the jams, and you will learn the in's and out's of how to do it easily at home. Feel free to water bath your jam at home for shelf preservation, which we'll go over, or place in the fridge and eat within 3 weeks after opening.
At the end of the workshop, you will not only have canned jars of jam, but also the knowledge and skills to make and can your own jams at home. As we like to say, "any time is the right time for jam."
All tools and materials are provided. Class will be 1.5- 2 hours based on the speed and experience of our canners.
Optional: bring your own apron.
