Spring is in the air, and summer will be here in no time. That means eating alfresco, dinner parties on the patio, or enjoying a picnic outside. One way to turn your good meal into a gourmet experience is to add crisp, crunchy, wonderful pickled sides that will give any dish that extra kick (or, you could do like we do and just eat them straight out of the jar).
This fun hands-on 2-hour workshop will begin with a tasting of quick-pickled goods coupled with artisan breads and cheeses, so you can decide which brine and flavor profile you like the best in your pickled goods. Thereafter, you'll move to deciding what items you'd like to pickle from our wide array of farm-fresh herbs, spices, and vegetables, including cucumbers, carrots, onions, tomatoes, radishes, snap beans, and more. You'll chop your selections, then follow our carefully curated recipes and heating process to create quick pickled goods of your own.
At the end of the workshop, you'll go home with 2-3 completed jars of quick-pickled goods for you to enjoy at home, and the wherewithal to pickle the day way.
