Sewing 102: Block Printed Zipper Pouches

WE LOVE US A TWO-FOR-ONE, and this workshop gives that to you. In this workshop, you'll use fabric-ready ink, some truly modern stamps, canvas to block print (provided by us) and all the accoutrement you'll need to make an awesomely pretty (and functional) pouch. 

In this workshop, each participant will receive a plenty of practice on how to get just the right amount of pressure to pattern your fabric. After you've created your design, we'll go finalizing making your zipper pouch. You'll learn how to combine fabrics, attach your zipper,  and walk away with all the knowledge to knock out a bunch more once you get home. 

WHAT TO BRING TO CLASS: 

• You may bring 1/2 yard of fabric you'd like to use, but we'll also have plenty on hand for you to use in your final design (so just bring yourself!).
• Zippers, interfacing, leather pulls and the pattern will be provided in the cost of the workshop. 

MANDATORY PRE-REQUISITE:  
To join us for this workshop, you must have taken our Intro to the Sewing Machine workshop, or have knowledge on how to properly thread a machine AND spool a bobbin on your own.  Experience sewing accessories is a plus, but is not required.  

NO NEED TO BRING YOUR MACHINE!  In all bee creative workshops, you'll use our Brother sewing machines to complete your wares (we love our Brother machines.... Great starter machines for all).

Each workshop is approximately 2.5 hours long.
