Stringing a statement necklace can seem daunting, but we want you to believe us that it is a feat that anyone can tackle. Creating a lovely, large, colorful woven necklace seems an even more daunting task, but with a few tricks and steps, we'll have you creating chat-worthy statement necklaces in no time.
The woven necklace has long been a requested workshop by beehive customers, and the time is finally here. In this 2 hour class, you will learn stringing and finishing techniques used by professional jewelry makers to ensure high-quality, and most importantly, long-lasting large-bead woven designs. You will learn and use both 2-strand and 3-strand weave, allowing you great versatility in both design and wearability. The best part? This is a statement necklace made from light wood beads, which means you can rock it all day and night, every season of the year.
What makes this class different?
Unlike other beginner jewelry classes, in this class you get to make the jewelry you want. Be prepared at the top of class to select from a wide variety of wood beads to create the double strand necklace of your dreams!
By the end of the class, you'll have plenty of practice, and a lovely handmade necklace (that typically retails for $60 - $100) to wear home.
For the course, we will provide all tools and supplies. If you have special beads you'd like to use, be sure to bring them with you for your creation.
