Jewelry 201: UV Resin

NO PRE-REQUISITE REQUIRED.   Learn how to make resin jewelry in Atlanta, Georgia. 

Are you a "make it and wear it" type of gal or guy?  Are you a person who needs a little instant gratification in your life?  Do you love pretty, modern jewelry?  If so, this is the jewelry workshop for you.  

In our 101 and 102 Resin workshops, we go through the traditional steps of how to mix a two part resin epoxy, pour it, and cure it over a period of 24-48 hours.  

In our our UV Resin workshop, we use specialized UV resin and cure under the light in 5 minutes (so get ready to wear your work instantly!).  

In this workshop, attendees will learn:

• What your proper work environment should be to easily create UV resin jewelry. 
• All the tools and components you'll need to create at home (and where to buy them)
• How to prepare botanicals to set into an open-back resin bezel. 
• How to use a closed-back bezel with resin color to create a beautiful piece of jewelry. 
• How to pour and cure resin into a flexible silicone mold using resin colors, gold foil, copper foil and glass to create extra shine. 

By the end of the 1.5-2 hour workshop, each participant will have 3-5 new fabricated pieces of jewelry (necklaces or earring sets) to take home. All materials are included in the price of the workshop.
