Beginners Knitting 101 - Eco Washcloth
Have you been dreaming of casting on some yarn and getting cozy with a new skill of knitting? Join us for this step-by-step, 2-session knitting workshop and learn how to make a cotton washcloth. Sustainable and eco-friendly, these knitted cloths are great for the kitchen or bathroom and they also make a wonderful gift! This class will teach you knitting basics such as casting on/off and the garter stitch. Learn from our talented instructor, Amy Gresens, and interact with other beginners while you build your skill of knitting!
Materials needed are as follows:
Needles – US Size 7 knitting needles, 4.5 mm, 9inches / 23 cm (bamboo recommended, Clover brand/Michaels $9.99)
Yarn – Category 4, worsted weight, 1 skein100% cotton yarn, Lily Sugar N’ Cream recommended
Tapestry or Darning needle
Class is two – 2 hour sessions
